NFL Playoff Picture Begins To Clear Up

Week 14 of the NFL betting lines season, provided a clear cut picture for fans wagering on which teams they believe will make the playoffs this season. Several teams were able to pull off impressive victories, while others pretty much showed why they deserve to be on the outside of the NFL playoffs looking in. Today we’ll look at how the playoff would shape up if the season ended today.

If the season ended today, the four teams with byes in round one would be the Houston Texans, Baltimore Ravens, Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers. The eight teams and four wild card games, would be the New York Jets v New England Patriots, the Pittsburgh Steelers v Denver Broncos, the Detroit Lions v New Orleans Saints, and the Atlanta Falcons v New York Giants.  In other words, if the bookie software playoffs started today, fans would be as confused as ever in terms of who to pick for Super Bowl Champion.

On paper, the second round of the playoffs would go as follows, in the AFC, the Houston Texans would take on the Pittsburgh Steelers, while the Baltimore Ravens would face the New England Patriots. This would then be followed up with a Houston v Baltimore AFC final, before the Ravens moved on to the Super Bowl. Conversely, the Lions would take on the Packers, while the Giants would take on the 49ers in the second round of NFC action. This then would be followed up with a Green Bay v New York Giants NFC Finals. The Super Bowl would then be Baltimore against Green Bay.

In the Super Bowl, Green Bay would figure out a way to survive the vicious Ravens defense. As well, the Packers defense, would find a way to stop Ray Rice, as they win their second Super Bowl in a row.
